Google Analytics

We track the use of our website to optimize and improve the user experience. When accepting cookies from Google Analytics you allow us to gather this data. We have made sure to anonymize your IP-address, making it very hard for us to identify you as a person. Since Google Analytics gathers a lot of data for us, there might be a way for us to identify unique users through aggregated data. With that being said, this is something we do not do.

The data supplied by Google Analytics is used to optimize our website and content.

Google Tag Manager

We track the use of our website to optimize our communications and advertising. Google Tag Manager is used to track events on our website, so we can better understand more about your engagement and such. For example: We track subscriptions to our newsletter. When you subscribe Google Tag Manager sends information to Google Analytics about the signup and which page the user was visiting when signing up. We do not gather personal data through Google Tag Manager.

Sharing of you personal data

We do not sell your personal data for marketing purposes to other companies. We may only share your personal data as follows:

When you sign up to our newsletter your email address is shared with Mailchimp. If you unsubscribe we will delete your email from the unsubscribed list within 1 year of you unsubscribing. Unfortunately Mailchimp has no automatic way of doing this (if you know about one, let us know!). When signing up we pass your data through IFTTT to Slack to receive notifications of new signups. Read more about this under the section Signing up to our newsletter.

When you accept personalized ads cookies your information is shared with Facebook and LinkedIn.

When you accept cookies from Albacross you information is shared with Albacross. You can read their privacy policy here.
